Why Can't I Just Apply For Membership Now?

APMC is a non-commercial organisation and does not currently accept membership on demand and qualified by interest or payment alone.

Enquiring to APMC before submitting a formal application for membership means the Membership Office will be able to help you with any questions you might have about APMC and assist you in determining which membership option is most appropriate to your occupational circumstances as a mole catcher.

Also, in some circumstances, for example where applicants for APMC membership are subscribed members of an organisation Affiliated with APMC or have a trade account with an APMC Affiliated supplier of equipment, the Association is disposed to acknowledge those commitments by offering significant discounts on APMC's standard fees for annual membership.
 

What Information Might I Be Asked To Provide When I Apply Formally?

Formal application for APMC membership requires simply that you fill out and submit the membership form.

The type of information we might ask you to provide formally might include:

  • Your Personal Details
    We ask you to provide your name and adequate contact details so that APMC can phone you or write to you by email and/or land mail.
  • Your Trading/Employment Details
    We ask you to provide us with a small amount of detail describing your trading identity (if any) and your employment/trading status
  • Your Mole Catching
    We ask you to provide us with some information about your mole catching services, how long you have been catching moles occupationally and your experience to date.
  • Concessionary Rate Membership Fee
    If APMC has advised you that your are entitled to apply for membership at the Concessionarry Rate fee, and you wish to claim that benefit, we ask you to confirm those details for our records.

In general, APMC's formal membership application processes are designed to provide us with sufficient information to process your application only.
